It seems to me that the little girl is here she looks up at me and i wipe away her tear she says can''t we go now to the place in the sky i tell her to hold on and that it''s not time to die she looks up at me sad and says that she''s hurting really bad i tell her she''s not alone anymore and that i know why she''s sad she responds in a soft voice that her heart is in pieces and that she won''t be at peace til the pain in her heart ceases she sits in the corner and tries not to cry but she''s confused and hurting and doesn''t understand why i tell her it''s ok i won''t let him hurt her no more she looks down at the ground and asks are you sure she slowly looks up and says i love you i reach out my hand and say i love you too... |
