My mouth moving a mile a minute My thoughts traveling even faster Skipping across the universe At the blink of an eye Delusions turning to illusions Confusion feeding the hallucinations What is real? What is not? I grasp at reality in a moment that is fleeting My soul and my mind, tied to a tree Its leaves dangle helplessly in the breeze To break free would be to awaken... |
