Two American kids Amidst the scenic country side They travel hand in hand Under the bluest skies they fall From grace or from just a tree For them it is the same Two American kids Within them both, a deep love A grace unlike any other A pact made between souls Old enough to bleed But young enough to see The truth between themselves Two American kids Blue skies turn to red The sun becomes a crimson moon The trees begin to laugh together They seem to know something Something the kids can’t figure out The mystery has begun They’re journey has just ended... |
