I’ll may lose touch with you...If you read these words...I may say too much... You came to me in the keyboard of my dreams Proudly, addicted to recovering from your past Till the present became the scaffold to the future The wind tried to rip away the sack cloth and ashes Till the sun came up...Sweating, you refused...To part with the cloak...Scratching the scabs...Infecting you… Your qualifying mistakes retold endlessly...Till repetition became your truth...Every step the answer to your deliverance...Grieving trapped in a circle... Phrases vomited by rote from memory Leading with your chin...Peeling the onion...Till there’s nothing left, but the hidden tears in your eyes...Cut the marionette’s strings from your past... I look around see the people...Listening with downturn frowns...To programmed drama...With my stupid smile If by some accident of fate...And these words ever reach you...The queen takes the rook...I’ll keep the focus on myself... If the definition of insanity??? is doing the same thing...Over and over again...Expecting different results… The definition of freedom...Must be Liberty Good-bye deceit Good-bye, thank you You showed me my truth... |
