Your pain-filled heartbeats echoing off cement walls of cell block 15, reaching through bars The night time stars were good to you memories of her faded with each sunset Now with changing seasons you’ll be seeing her 168 days Is the same confusion behind her quiet façade? Are you alone with a dirty secret? With yesterday’s regrets? Sitting in rafters of an ugly rhyme can’t say sorry for everything. Too far to fall this time. It’s not easy to say Good-Bye when each day you have to greet her like everyone else with a meaningless hello... Is the same confusion behind her quiet façade? Are you alone with a dirty secret? With yesterday's regrets? You may never know? Will you ever know? Are we each alone with a dirty secret? In each other’s yesterdays of regrets? Never know, Cora Rose... Never know, Cora Rose... Never know Cora Rose?... |
