You have helped me calm my confusing life A dark lake life that was torn with strife. I was barely breathing, maybe much less And so very deep was my loneliness. That I felt as I'd been bound And You I had never found SOMEONE who could solace bring To my lonely heart's imagining. Whose beauty and kind way could make An Eden's shores around my dark, dim lake.... |
