Silly man claims he’s the Son of Man 12 men saying they’re his followers Put them all away… They’re a danger to themselves and society … The bus arrives at the asylum with the bakers dozen One with nail holes in his palms and feet And a nasty wound in his side … The 12 say he came back from the dead Just another bunch of psychotic schizo’s With messiah complexes and delusions of grandeur And a self mutilator Later another shows up unsure if his name is Saul or Paul… Claiming to having been stricken on the side of a road With a blinding vision telling him the Messiah could be found here… Poor soul suffering from visual and auditory hallucinations Give them all Haldol and take the Bibles from their rooms Strangely 40 nights later The asylum was quiet all night The Son of Man escaped No one gave it a second thought Except the patients locked in ward 3 He had taken their demons… ... |
