Poem: Everyone has wounds from their childhood
but everyone doesn't let them defeat them.
I have tried to remember where I came from,
a ghost town, moving from pain to turmoil.
Some things only return to life
if we pour energy in them, shining light on them.
I am a lawyer negotiating new questions.
I stand at the corner, looking each way.
Perhaps it's a question that goes on and on
or perhaps the answer will arrive unexpectedly
like a taxi in the rain....
