Winter freezes teary eyes Spring thaws icy hearts Summers’ thunder of love Never sees the Fall of tears Lost and broken again Each time worse than before… Waited so many years To kiss love hello again The song my heart sings The tune always out of key As intermission ends I watch the curtain rise And realize I should have appreciated The good things Which never last So many things we tell ourselves We have left to do Rushing by simple things Which make hearts fly Like double rainbows… As the story ends I’m not the one taking center stage But rest assured I’ll be there When the final curtain falls… If you want me to… ... |
