Abandoned at birth only to be carried by an angel to a new home, a new pair of arms to hold me, nurture me, with unconditional love. You guided me towards paths I should have taken, though I didn't always listen, but you love me still. Through my pain, the days I didn't think I could make it, you picked me up, dusted me off and gave me a reason to care about a life that dealt me hardships. I am who I am because of your love, because of your hopes for me, and I love you forever for giving me life, when life didn't seem worth living. I love you Mom!... |
