Too much talk of death a virus in our head Words too often said a cancer we take to bed So much talk of unbridled thought Running faster than a keyboard mouse We forget “normal” people bleed they hurt each other They are just as confused about what they want Are we better than we think? We face emotions and feelings Most are able or choose to ignore like each other, and you and me If I had to pick a disease It would be this one It makes me sensitive compassionate and a little bit creative We plumb the depths of being We explore the sky of feeling And if we're “lucky” to be in the middle We express the beauty of it all... Ask me tomorrow I'll feel differently... |
