Deeply beneath cognizance past dreams lurk yet to be Lit brightly Fouled lightly For curtained conscious to see Pure emotion Past devotion Rises yet numbness exposed Tearful shudder Eyes flutter But lids are still closed Memoirs of happiness struggle in vain to hold firm Still unyielding Sadness feeling Overwhelming in turn Thoughts awaken Toll is taken Darkness has set in Have to feel Was it real Flashback is all that it’s bin... |
