A thousand voices all around me I can only hear mine The sun shines brightly outside The darkness sets in my soul Do your feelings exist when you're not around? Why can't I feel you? Longing for your touch... Little do I know, you've been here all along I love you, I hate you Just leave me alone Wait, where are you going? Don't you love me anymore? Forever in remorse for that which I've said and done Yet I do it again and again Will this ever stop? An occasional sunset fills my soul with laughter Memories of times which no longer exist Brighter, easier times Times where pain wasn't the norm and I could wake up without screaming Times where I knew who I was Times where every single emotion did not mesh together to form the monster I have become... |
