I wonder about this latest war Seems we've tried this before Khe Sanh, Hue, Hill 845 Trapped, wounded, barely alive Losing our young With no glory to be won Soldiers dying For people who don't want us there Too many broken bodies Too many senseless casualties A war that didn't need to be waged All the false reasons staged Soldier through it all You stand tall Do not despair For all of us do care... |
