Poem: Black ice. You can’t see it. You slip, you fall, you can’t get up so you crawl.

It’s coming, the black thickness. It’s calling your name. You try to run, it has you. You try to cry, it suffocates you. You cry, it mocks you. Your life grows numb. You want to die. Day turns to night, night to day.

You can’t remember the last time you could smile.

God help me, you cry, help me please!
No help comes.
You are alone.
The blackness has you....
