You finally lift the silky veil That's hidden your face for far too long You let me caress all that's soft and pale The softness of misty clouds at dawn The grace of a sonnet put to song My hand exploring your every curve A single bead of sweat shows my urge A trembling breath my only sound It's a new life our hearts have found As we slowly lie each other down And if it's only this nightly dream That continues to bring you back to me I'll gladly sleep for eternity... |
