A mane as black as the threatening smoky skies, And as blue as past unclouded horizons - a stallion's eyes, Anger of a God gone mad! Entering this tempest once again, Insanity, unsuggested by men, This strength and fury she dares to mount, Thunder, crash - lightning strike, The dance against her will, at first, has begun, Beneath the darkened sun, As nostrils flare and spirits fume, Two souls join to understand, It is not one nor the other in command, For the dance of the pounding hooves With valiant twists and turns, To the song of the angered heavens, Is as one they move, From one soul to the other - smooth, A rider not frightened, A horse not furious, Only dancing in the storm, But of this such practice let the sane be warned....... |
