Poem: |
Its wretched claws has dug in, deeper, deeper. It's pulling me further down to it's dark lair smothering my will with its poisonous fingers. I want sleep within its beckoning arms. Oh to have peace and feel once again, To quench my body in the sun's warmth, my children's laughter, my husband's touch and know it to feel true. All these feelings are through paned glass where I can see the sun, but robbed of its warmth. To hear my children's laughter, but robbed of its love, to feel my husband's touch, but robbed of its seduction. I will always see my world behind the paned glass but I won't feel it's happiness.... |
