Let not the days’ shadows shade! But may the flickering flame shine bright, Through cores of hearts with might, As it did whence we were made - When at our lips first air The world was pure and fair. At birth, ideal! Let not what’s real The mirror break And sadly make A shattered soul and life That brings eternal strife.... |
