I don’t know Who I am without you Here where I lie And you inside. Weight and darkness and deep seated tendrils, I’ve never seen your face, And I’ve long forgotten mine. I have you and a mask And self hatred and lies, A soul, worn away, And a self you've long overpowered. I’m not the only one who can’t Remember what it was like before You came to stay. But I suppose it doesn’t matter, I need no alibi. You have me now I lost, you won, And you’ll keep winning until the day I die Lying here Consoled For this is one thing that is forever mine, You can’t stop me saying goodbye.... |
