that manic depression startin' to set in but baby it's not because of our sin condemnation startin' to rack my brain Lord take away this pain so many highs and lows the war in my soul take a deep breath let the cold wind blow they tell me to take my pills but not the ones that give the thrills so numb i cannot feel will my mind ever heal? livin' in my own purple haze on this lost highway they say they see me in a daze only a woman's touch can phase so brothers let's stay strong from dusk till dawn there's power in our songs this ole world can't batter us for too long... |
