Can another feel this way or is this only for me? This cast of sadness in the frail of flitter and time Does the weight of dank depression always need to lead to despair? In a world that finds us refuge in condition beyond repair Need the pain of finding beauty be felt so deeply wrong? Why can’t we hear the spirit of the sparrow’s cheerful song? The children that I see in their laughter seem so sad They tear the heart from within me as though it I never had I long to find the essence of a merely neutral place Rather than dying at my own hand in sinful bitter disgrace ... |
