They who know these things Who scan the skies To penetrate the pulsing plasma's core, Tell us Who likewise seek to know, And trust veracity of cosmic lore, That in the vast and silent reach of space Where a billion suns consume themselves in fire And postulated planets like this earth With rocky mantle bounding molten core And dancing atoms Account for but a spark, That matter for the greatest part Remains enigma. They call it "dark", this mystery Unrivalled cold or heat's intensity, And speculate its frame So vast So hard to name, yet I No problem see in this No theory to disprove... In Dante's Power which moves the swirling stars With certitude and joy Discover LOVE!... |
