Recklessly I’ve fallen Failed to watch my way Black as night, cold as ice I’m drowning once again No one knows, all alone My secret is within Didn’t pay attention to the signs along the path Subtle signs of danger I kept running past Tired as I climb the trail that led to my despair Forging though, ignoring fear, failing breath heart beats fast. Through the darkness Faith and friends reach out Pulling from my hopelessness Tired, weak, afraid Longing for a peaceful heart That calms the storm within Quiet signs of hope Along the path I see the signs again ... |
