It doesn't seep like sap from a tree It doesn't weep like the sadness in me It bears no resemblence to rollercoaster roars It only holds deeply the chaos it incurs It stands its ground as unsteady as a drunk It lingers on until I'm sunk Sunk like a ship that teeters till it drowns Drowns in the deep sea of monotonous sounds It won't allow room for much needed happiness It captures my being like a well fit harness It's chaotic nature likes to twirl me around Like the whirlwind in a storm that's abound A mixed state is one that is all of its' own A combination that's severely overgrown Overgrown with sadness, and also aggression Overgrown with madness, and manic obsession A mixed state is one that is all of its own And today I pray...once again... for the release of its thorns ... |
