Physical battles may seem impossible When the odds are stacked against you My illness gawks and whispers about me Heavy artillery I’m not equipped to fight It tells me, “ the fight is already won” “No matter how hard you try, I’ll always be here whispering in your ear” “I am you” it says “You are pain” My response?
