This rime that flows and rhymes must throb with rhythmic time to the beat and the chimes of each line on the dime; it must have lines and rows that move with good meter to feet of highs and lows that's nice, tight and neater; it, too, must be well-writ with not so subtle song that ev'n pets can hear it in homes where they belong. (Oh, alas and alack!) 'Tis time to end this tune with a farewell address, so close do I too soon with this — no more, no less.... |
