At times, it is coiled up and ready to strike at a moment's notice. During the heat of the day, it lays on its belly straight but rigid, and all of its juices flow with purpose from head to tail. As it moves across grey sand, or dark brown withering grass all of the fluids are delayed, but still flow It is hunted by man and other predators. When it is captured, it is all knotted up. The juices are stopped. Shock and trauma set in. It needs help, but pride and vanity is in the way. A lesson can be learned from the serpent. There is no shame in asking for help. Swallow your pride and be courageous. Your life and future depends upon it.... |
