Tear stains like crystal icicles run down my gutters of life Manic attack 1:30 am relentless... like an angry snake If that were true A lot less painful Vicious grip my soul I see that aged window Cracked but not broken like a piercing hole in the midnight fog The poreclain throne lies before me Shining, glimmering, drawing attention It offers no empathy Life as a refugee Misunderstood and a victim of stereotypes Please take me away Just another day ... |
