No one knows No one looks beyond the face No one sees the tears behind the eyes The cries of help behind the mouth The tears running down behind the cheeks Everything wants to be in front But those things must stay hidden No one can see the pain Yet, the pain wants to be seen Those tears that want to come out when someone asks how I am But no one asks a second time They see fake eyes with no tears They see a perfect, broken smile They see a silly, frivolous girl just like everyone else But they are wrong... |
