You are my rock My only link to sanity To life You are the anchor that keeps my feet on the ground Without you I would float away into space Most days you are the only thing that keeps me going In my blackest times, you are the light When I feel like I might crack, you glue me back together and mend my broken soul You have seen me through my bleakest moments The world has tried to tear us apart but has never succeeded And never will Without you, life would be meaningless and unbearable We have seen the best of times and the worst of times And through it all, we have only grown closer I never knew I could love anyone the way that I love you I never knew I could need anyone like I need you My attachment to you is stronger than I ever thought possible I need you like I need the air in my lungs Worse, sometimes Because without you, I would lose all desire to breathe When I feel myself teetering on the edge of madness you pull me back from the brink I want to thank you for everything you do for me For saving me from myself Because I am my own worst enemy And you are the hero of this story The story of us... |
