I can only be me, I cannot be a fill in for another image you see I have been patient, loving and kind I have thought about what I have to offer, is it enough, will it be good enough? You hold a grudge and find it hard to forgive me I promised you with a poem you really could have cared less Too many words and not enough action so I changed how I treated you and stopped judging you and the whole time I was doing as I said I would you were not even really listening I can only be me if that is not what you see.
