I break the silence, so you all can hear. I need some answers, Oh won''t you tell me my dear? Why do you feel so alone, when i''m standing right here, lending my hand to offer some comfort and care? Oh why are you so confused, that you cut your so pretty skin, deepening the wound that was already there? Oh why do you cry yourself to sleep, struggling not to break, keeping up with life''s demand. Just stop right there, listen to me my dear; You''re not alone, for we all have a pain that we cannot bear. I see you so clear, although you may not know, i''m looking into your eyes and seeing a soul that needs repair. You cannot keep carrying life''s worries on those weak shoulders, you cannot keep silencing those sobs with a smile that''s not real. I see who you are, but you are blinded by your own despair. You''re just one soul, not the world''s hero, so let''s start there.... |
