Title: When

Poem: Even today, maybe yesterday
Maybe then I’ll forget.
Emptiness has filled me,
How long to go, how far?

Maybe tomorrow, who will know?
Darkness has arrived,
Hunting for what is left, last of the light
How far to be pushed

If only…
Will I be strong enough?
To resist, to fight.
This that has become my existence.
Within spoken words, trapped for life.

How long still to go?
Regret has turned into cancer,
Eating away this that is me.
So many memories, haunting me.

She was my world, but she took my life.
Without the meaning, that makes no sense
Nothing is left, nothing to give.
Only if darkness wins…
