Once upon a time there was a bipolar teenaged girl. Her mind was shot from years of pain. She had no control in her world. Her brain played tricks, made her paranoid, made her feel insane, and in her heart, made a void. She acted unruly - she could not be tamed. Her whole being went wild and she tried in vain to feel normal again, though she knew she could not. The tyrants in her head would not let her go. They drove her mad and she forgot about love, forgot her life. She soon lost it all and turned to the knife. Before long, the cutting stopped being able to heal. Her world had stopped turning; Nothing seemed real. Loved ones were strangers, her own face wasn't recognized. All her efforts were in vain because no on realized how fucked up she had become. How her sanity had vanished. To the core, she was numb. Her soul was famished. Her heart was shattered, she was broken and alone. She died inside, but who could have known? No one realized she was crazy, no one understood "bipolar." The hate was her escape, her universal controller. Meds would do nothing. She'd abuse til they were gone. Her soul became a toxic dump hidden by the smiles she put on. She kept the door to her mind locked tight, guarding its entrance, fighting with all her might to keep from cracking completely. She begged so sweetly to the tyrants to set her free. They refused with all they had and so there waged a war no one could see. She was on her own. People seemed not to care, but how could she let them? She'd become too scared. How could she be sane again when worlds were crashing down? The tyrants took her soul away and left her with a frown.... |
