Awake. Lid''s peeled back Unable to breathe. Some force within Some will defiant, A pushing, A pulling, My lot in life. I cannot calm this storm I cannot quell the waves. This wave is climbing up and up Til down it will drop, will surf, then plunge. Just leave me at the crest, please. Don''t make me come down. I do not like reality.... |
