Hold me, please - And don’t let go I’ve had a hard time, Or don’t you know. I’ve needed a hand, To be held out to me I sometimes think that I cannot see. I cannot see what is in front of me I cannot tell - if you are From Heaven, or you are from Hell If you are bad, then stay away I risk too much - Living life that way. I cannot tell what is wrong from right I am tired of what seems an endless fight. I thought I was broken, but now a friend Has suggested, just bent; It’s not the end. I do have choices, you see - But I am afraid that I cannot dream... Dream of release - Of the hard time That I’m having. I pray it will be mine. Hold me, please and don’t let go I’ve had a hard time, Or don’t you know.... |
