Red glare grey tint Summer of my anger, Dims and shimmies within my stomach wall; Spiteful indigestion spoils hunger, Bile of rage rises up to blanket all. Rape of self quickens with a viral lust, Then you, ice bitch, appear in my furnace So I focus my hot pain as I must, And expect you to thaw in my harshness. But ice crystals form in my searing veins And the undeniable corruption Of your Winter glare stifles my burning All my rage was just an interruption What seemed as Winter’s cold seduction Is reduced to Summer’s misconstruction.... |
