When I''m feeling lonely and upset You blame yourself, what''s the bet? When I''m feeling sad and want to go You think I don''t see your pain, I do, I know. When my pain is overwhelming and life too hard I know you''re trying to help, but you can''t. Because I am someone, and a person you need You''ll stay up all night, beg, try and even plead and I''ll put on a smile and say it''s not so bad just so you''re happy even though I''m still sad. And one day when the grip gets too tight when I can''t wake up from a dark lonely night, when my soul has left the body of pain, will you think of me again and again? Will you smile when you think of the past? will you remember and have a good laugh? Can you understand I was here for a reason, and had now out-grown my season? I want you to laugh and to smile and remember the good for a while. I want you to learn and understand I''ll always be around to hold your hand. If you can''t see me or don''t know I''m here Just look in your heart and I''ll appear I will be smiling and be happy so true and finally we''ll both be happy too. So when I''m lying in my coffin all dressed to go don''t shed a tear and wish it weren''t so Just force on a smile cause I''ll be near and I''ll whisper "I love you" for only you to hear.... |
