A celestial angel visited in the night Wondering why my tears freely flowed As I lay in my multi-colored dreams Still wondering which way to go She asked no probing questions of me But only stood and stared While looking down upon my brokenness My heart shattered beyond repair I heard no whispered words of quiet From this winged angel in the night Yet when I looked upon her beauty She was such a magical sight She said ''Silent tears are for the broken Who are chosen to die alone'' While watched by celestial angels Waiting to take them home A celestial angel visited in the night Still my tears freely flowed Knowing that my path was chosen And now it was time to go ... |
