Please don’t tell me there is no such thing as normal. That’s a normal person’s outrageous denial of my reality. Of course there’s a normal, but it’s a range, or more scientifically, a normal distribution, And having bipolar disorder puts me inside a different bell shaped curve. If you really care, Then tell me the distributions sometimes cross, one end to the other, Or that they merge, or blur… Or encourage me to keep taking my medication, so that maybe with treatment and time I can jump bells. That will comfort me, give me somewhere to try and be, And help me find my way, In a dark place. ... |
