Poem: I eat the hot green chiles for the fire red feelings
of anti-numbness;
It''s an anti-blackness I seek.
They say I am a mad hatter
for I bite the hot green chiles,
but I eschew the seed.
And just what
do they know?
They want me to eat pink and purple
pharma-flavanoids grown in petri dishes
that aren''t even savory....
