At a glance I thought I was dead, At least I hoped I was. Questions kept coming at me, "Did you do this, did you do this?" To which I scowled and grumbled and turned away. People all aroud me, why were they there? So caring, it made me sick. I didn''t want to be there. Why wouldn''t they go away? Why was I still there? How did I mess up? What did I do wrong? Death, so welcoming an answer to all my problems. Damn this world for its cruel punishments of life and death, teasing me with its taste of desire. Where would I be, what would I be doing? Not here in this wretched world unmatched by any other. All I wanted was to die, but I couldn''t even get that right. Story of my life - Murphy''s Law - someone always interfering and bringing you back to reality. Do I hate, or love? I don''t know Was it a mistake? Maybe. Look deep inside and one day I''ll tell you.... |
