I want to go away from me Can''t stand my emptiness It wants to drain my blood Down to the last drop Just to tie in ropes of failure Was born that way Living in the corner of the kitchen Raised from a hundred runaways In the little hick town of Hecker Il Two hundred population, three taverns Two grocery stores Surrounded by southern Illinois farmland Dad was the town cop I was the looney kid, went to Catholic school They shot me through on an unfaultable non-adjustable diploma, it didn''t work I''ve been a brilliant looser ever since Traipsing around the country Just trying to find a place Found my spot in the furnace Southern Arizona, wouldn''t trade it I love the conflagration It''s a holy land Never mind me, I''m psychotic But I got my pills That''s it for now... |
