I live in a room with no windows I live in a world with no sky A darkness tries to consume me I fight an irrelevant fight The walls are closing in on me Crushing my spirit and soul The ground is giving beneath my feet I am running out of air And the world cannot hear my screams They don''t know I''m here 6 feet under a blanket of darkness My heart bleeds for what I''m deprived Everyday when I open my eyes I can''t tell that I''m awake My world has become so black Despair is calling my name Happiness is the intangible dream Like roses long since wilted Loneliness clings to my insides And I am a falling star... |
