I''m broken from the years Me and the bodies of the shipwrecked My children came and went Life lost on highway dreams Head filled with haunting memories I''m still an ambassador of love Tears and all standing in the noonday sun Offspring where did you go? How did I live in these stage acts? But it all seemed real to me My attic of youth Now my old age desert solitude Youthfulness spent so seemingly gosh But I have no regrets What good would it do? Thankful for kids, music and women Loving and leaving One train station to another walking desolate streets in my retreats Watching life through picture windows that were not mine Reading my dream to you Even when you didn''t listen We are always living alone together Makes no difference Even if it be the queen of heaven ... |
