Title: thought of the day
Author: rod
Date Submitted: 9/6/2009

Poem: fortune cookie lives
never plan ahead
scrap booking
mothers
and lawn mowing
dads
ipod people, ignoring
my blackberry soul
standardized testing doesn''t
make us whole
silly, "silly" fate
don''t you know you''re not there
drafted by the past, who is red
who remembers the square
laptop dreams , don''t equal
your internet dates
the children of technology are just
the children of late
dream on little schemer
you fool yourself too
break reality
shit, it''s probably not for you
"whatever". That''s what we say
we''ve lost the ability to even
explain our own way
so slumber on, little dumb one
forget what you never knew
close your mind
i guess i never knew it too...
