Empty cupboards, hungry stomachs, vacant eyes Complacence of the upper-class It''ll turn around in time , doesn''t even make art The economic weather change, greed fuels the mercantile Now the god pushers want to blame someone It''s the gays, too many immigrants, the liberal left Out of the hands of the common man Gangsters take their seats while they last Congress faces left Survival with the new socialism Wakeup bible thumper Your good news is bad news Antiquated by your greed Self serving god of your intellect Hungry faces on a forced fast while you make political decisions The sun goes down, tens of thousands of empty houses Real estate salesman just another dinosaur Look at all the conservative pinched up faces Maybe you need to take a good dump Bilious is not a good state of being This is my self imposed catharsis My salvation induced enema Just a repeat through all of time Everybody has their day in the sun Political rags make poor poetry Where is life truly going on?
