Cell Phones. IPods. Electronic Technology. All have eliminated the need for imagination Setting aside interpersonal interaction Which I was never very good at anyway. I walk down the hall filled with white walls glowing like sunshine in the middle of the night. Being awakened by life past. The guilt and shame. Held accountable by past mistakes. The thoughts of living with peace and grace have eluded my being. Now terrified by voices I hear, crucified by judges of days gone by. I have tried my best to fit into a world, where people like me cannot exist. Once you consider death, the option never goes away! Medicines of untold amounts have been passed on to me Yet they cannot make my symptoms go away. Stuck in a world full of madness, like a bird in a cage. My final solution is the only way, life in darkness, my final resting place. The world has became too much for me.... |
