Entangled in this world. Fearing the pain I'd inflict if I left on empty alibis and voices long silent, faces long unseen in these fading eyes downcast over hollows dark deepening caverns and bruising skin. Shrinking, fading, evanescent. Consolingly unable to hold this weakening soul forever. No. I seek not this testament. This figure I see in glass, as thin; she swims and fades, crimson washed with sorrow fading to tears down cheeks, and eyes closing out the truth unwanted. ... |
